About us

La Douceur de L'Enfance

Philosophy

At La Douceur de l'Enfance, we believe that every family and every child is unique. We recognize parents as the primary educators and support them in their role. Our educators act as mediators between children and their environment, adopting a preventive and constructive approach. We offer a rich environment adapted to children's needs, fostering their overall development through age-appropriate activities, space planning and materials. We pay particular attention to the quality of relationships between children and adults, and between adults themselves, valuing attachment and positive interactions.

Our qualified staff support the children in their activities, taking into account their strengths and needs, while guaranteeing their well-being and safety. With learning methods such as “Jouer c'est magique” and “Éducatout”, we encourage learning through play, which stimulates children's physical, sensory, emotional and social development. We also value ecological education and integrate recycling and environmental practices into our activities, to raise children's awareness of protecting the planet from an early age.

Health & Safety

At Garderie La Douceur de l'Enfance, the health and safety of our children are our top priorities. We implement rigorous measures to ensure a safe, clean and healthy environment for every child, all day long.

Our facilities are regularly inspected to ensure they meet the highest safety standards. Play areas and equipment are adapted to each age group and regularly maintained to avoid any risk of accident. Staff are trained in safety procedures, including first aid, so that they can react quickly and effectively should the need arise.

We also apply strict hygiene protocols. Premises are cleaned and disinfected daily, particularly in frequently touched areas, to prevent the spread of disease. We also encourage children to adopt personal hygiene habits, such as washing their hands regularly.

To ensure a healthy environment, we make sure that children are always closely supervised, both indoors and outdoors, during activities. Our educators are attentive to the needs of each child, particularly in terms of diet, rest and the management of allergies or chronic illnesses. Parents are also involved in monitoring each child's specific needs, ensuring a personalized approach.
